Orion Bionetworks, with co-sponsorship from the FNIH, aims to conduct a series of Workshops to examine these issues and develop a roadmap of best practices for CNS Biomarker Discovery and Development of Diagnostics.
Objectives for this workshop:
- Using a case-study approach we will examine the full process from discovery to assay development and validation needed to bring a diagnostic to market and identify any gaps in the current model
- The workshop will discuss the most promising approaches
- A review of the most advanced biomarker candidates of neuroinflammation/ neurodegeneration will be conducted
